Dr. Jung Kim brings the beauty of the medicine into the classroom and clinic. When I'm in his classes or clinic shifts, I feel a deeper appreciation for learning acupuncture and TCM because our acupuncture includes the principles of the universe within it. I'm reminded of my ancestors and what powerful observers of nature they were to come up with this complete system by communicating through energy through needles and the power of plants. I've expressed many times to Dr. Kim that I would enroll in any class he had to offer in school or outside of school to just learn from him. He has the soul of a gentle teacher and the intuition of a caring/wise doctor. I appreciate Dr. Kim.

Dr. Kim is one of the most caring and influential teachers at ACTCM, especially in a clinic setting. He expects a lot from his students and holds them accountable which can sometimes be intimidating. It's those qualities that make it so evident that he truly cares about the students and their futures as practitioners. He goes above and beyond to help each student get what they need in terms of clinic slots, makeup shifts, etc. He's stern when he must be but also extremely understanding when it's called for. I have so much respect for him and he definitely made an impression on me during my time at ACTCM.
